Having trouble logging into the Watt Window® app? Sorry to hear it! Let’s get it fixed.
Troubleshooting checklist
❏ Is your Watt Window account active yet?
Your Watt Window champion (the person who told you about your Watt Window access) should know if we have activated your account yet.
You will also receive an automatic email with your login credentials when we first create your account. If you haven’t gotten such an email yet, then your account may not be active yet.
❏ Are you logging in from a desktop or laptop (not a small screen like a phone)?
The Watt Window web app works best on a computer with a decent-sized screen.
It also runs best with Apple Safari, Google Chrome, and Microsoft Edge browsers.
Other browsers may work too. We just can’t guarantee it.
❏ Did you enter the right email address?
Remember to use your email address as your username.
- Be sure you entered the email address chosen for your Watt Window account.
- Double-check that you typed the address correctly.
❏ Did you type your password correctly?
Be sure you entered the right password for your Watt Window account.
❏ Can’t remember your password?
No problem. You can reset it.
On the login screen, below the “Sign in” button, click the link labeled “Reset your password.”
You will receive an email with instructions for resetting your password.
❏ Contact your company’s Watt Window champion.
This is the person who manages the Watt Window relationship for your company. It’s likely the person who first told you about your Watt Window access. E.g., in a smaller company, this may be your company owner or COO. In a bigger company, it may be someone in IT.
The champion can confirm that you have access to Watt Window and what email address they used for your account access.
The champion can also work directly with our team in case there is some other problem. (If so, apologies for causing you all a bother!)
❏ Contact Watt Window directly.
Your company-internal Watt Window champion is always your best bet as a first point of support.
But if you can’t reach your champion, they don’t have an answer, and you urgently have to log in to the Watt Window app, please reach out to us directly.

When you contact us, please include the following information. It helps us help you:
- Your problem
- The system on which you are accessing Watt Window (kind of machine, e.g., laptop, operating system, e.g., Windows 11, and browser, e.g. current version of Google Chrome)
- What you have done to try to fix it
- Ideally, screenshots or other visuals showing the problem
- Ideally, a contact phone number, so we can reach you and resolve problems faster than by email
